Before you start having a look at our WUEDO BMW world on the following
pages, we would like to tell you who WUEDO is.
Our name, " WUEDO
", stands for WUe stenhoefer DO rtmund and is not only a registered, but also world-wide
renowned brand. This name was first used on 1st of March 1975 . On this day Helmut and Sylvia Wuestenhoefer
create their Kfz elektrik company. Starting point was always the motorcycle. That
is obvious, because Helmut Wuestenhoefer already gained many experiences
as racetrack pilot in motorcycling.
From the beginning everything was made for BMW
motorcycles. In 1976 the WUEDO team was classified as a best German
team in the long-distance world championship - naturally on BMW. The company
BMW honors the commitment and the outstanding knowledge: in 1977 the Wuestenhoefers signed
a contract as official BMW motorcycle
dealer . One year later the first WUEDO special
parts came to the market. Since that time the WÜDO team arround
Helmut Wuestenhoefer dedicates itself to sales and
maintenance of BMW motorcycles, but also to the development
and production of special accessories for
BMW motorcycles. More than 25 years successfull history followed so far.
Today we have 20 women and men in
the WUEDO team: seven mechanics work in the service team on BMW motorcycles, five persons work under the guidance of
daughter Martina Wuestenhoefer and are responsible for the sales of BMW
motorcycles, parts and accessories.
The
remaining crew
develops and distribute the WUEDO accessories program. Quality is thereby highest value,
what is documented by the certification of the complete
company according to DIN EN ISO
9001-2000.
The management is still in the hands of Helmut
and Sylvia Wuestenhoefer, daughter Martina supports them thereby. A new firm
domicile is an outer sign of the compnies growth. Today
you will find WUEDO in a modern, more than
1,000 square meters large building, better and easier to find then ever before in the new Airport
trade area Holzwickede, next to the
exit Holzwickede/Flughafen Dortmund at A 44. Only two minutes after leaving the highway, you
will reach our shop. You will be wellcomed friendly and competent.
The generous building allows a nice presentation of BMW motorcycles and
accessories, most modern mechanisms an optimization of all operational
sequences in the interest of customer. All who works here, do their job
with the heart.
If you did not become acquainted with the new WUEDO at the
Dortmund airport yet, you are cordially invited to a first attendance. You
will reach us via A
44, exit Holzwickede/Flughafen Dortmund. The motorway A 1 (over the cross Dortmund/Unna) and
A 2 (over the Kamener cross), which are A 45 (over the Westhofener Kreuz)
only a few minutes away.
